LAS VEGAS, Nev. (January 10, 2012) — WOWee ONE — creators of the award-winning WOWee ONE Slim portable power bass speaker — today premiered its WOWee ONE Pro, using the latest Bluetooth technology, creating hands-free enjoyment of any audio experience, at the Consumer Electronics Show 2012 (South Hall 2, Booth# 26133).
WOWee ONE’s new pocket-sized wireless speaker follows up on the astounding success of its Classic and Slim. The Pro turns any flat surface into a unique audio experience far superior to any speaker of its size — and gives fans the added benefit of the most advanced Bluetooth audio distribution profile, combined with unique audio- gel technology. It’s ideal for sharing music with friends, enjoying podcasts in comfort and putting callers into the room right beside you. The WOWee ONE Pro has a built-in mic for hands-free applications, an incredible 40Hz to 20k Hz bass sound range and weighs in at under 150 grams. Its internal battery provides up to 10 hours of play-time and is easily rechargeable via a standard USB cable.
The new WOWee ONE Pro will retail for $149.99 and is scheduled to be available in stores and online in late March 2012.

WOWee ONE Slim Wins Award for Best Mobile Product at the 2011 Mobile Excellence Awards
(December 6, 2011) - WOWee ONE is proud to announce that its latest product, WOWee ONE Slim portable power bass speaker, won the award for Best Mobile Product at the 2011 Mobile Excellence Awards. Presented by Verizon Developer Community, the Mobile Excellence Awards is the most prestigious and influential awards honoring the best in mobile entertainment and technology. The evening was sponsored in part by Mercedes Benz, AEG Network LIVE, Alcatel Lucent, Weather Channel, YouTube, Axis Entertainment, United Future, and Open-First.
Other finalists in Best Mobile Product category were Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, Inc for AMG; Research in Motion for BlackBerry Playbook; ZOMM Wireless Phone; Performance Media; and Jabra FREEWAY.
Eva Russell, WOWee ONE Business Development North America, accepted on behalf of Managing Director, Magnus Hammick and the entire WOWee ONE team. Hosted by comedian/actress and Saturday Night Live alum Cheri Oteri, the 2011 Mobile Excellence Awards took place on Monday, December 5th at Hotel Sofitel in Beverly Hills, California.
